In this episode, I speak with Alan Lefevre, HR Director for Doctors Without Borders Norway, who has dedicated his life to helping others. With over 30 deployments in natural disasters, outbreaks, and armed conflict contexts, Alan has seen it all. However, after becoming a father of twin boys, Alan shifted his focus to mentoring and coaching others in the field. During our conversation, I was struck by his incredible humility and empathy towards others. Despite his extensive experience and knowledge, he spoke with a genuine desire to connect and help others, making our discussion all the more enlightening and inspiring. My best advice for building psychologically safe teams - a safety that lasts over time and that all team members feel part of.
